Henry's House is to promote social networking site Bebo's efforts to make contact with an Earth-like planet 20 light years away.

Bebo and the TV company behind Wife Swap, RDF Digital, have teamed up with a top scientist to beam 500 messages in to space from a digital time capsule.

RDF Digital has appointed Henry’s House to promote the project, called A Message From Earth.

Launching on 4 August, A Message From Earth will enable young people make their mark on history with personal messages and pictures that will be broadcast to the nearest planet that could hold life.

Henry’s House has been appointed to support the five-month project following a three-way pitch. The agency is charged with driving awareness and sign up amongst the 16 – 24 year old audience by creating a buzz around the project both online and in traditional media outlets.

The account is being led by Henry’s House board director Sam Oxley, with senior account manager Liana Mellotte.
