LONDON - Men's lifestyle website Craveonline.com has acquired the world's largest anime and manga social networking site Myanimelist.net, which has more than 10,000 new members signing daily.

MyAnimeList.net is designed to give users an immediate and easy way of cataloguing their anime or manga collection. The site allows users to create a profile, connect with other enthusiasts and provide detailed information on anime or manga characters and plot lines.

It also provides members with the ability to create their own club or join existing ones, start a blog, check anime compatibility rating with other members and receive email notifications on new episodes.

The catalogue of more than 4.4m anime and 775,000 manga user-based entries on the site make MyAnimeList the largest site of its kind.

Mike Dodge, general manager of craveonline's owner, AtomicOnline, said: "MyAnimeList continues to bolster CraveOnline's leadership position in the highly competitive online male youth market.

"The acquisition appeals to AtomicOnline's growing family of quality owned and operated affinity properties."
