Wonderbra unveils giant bosom mosaic

LONDON - Wonderbra has unveiled a giant billboard in central London featuring thousands of women flaunting their cleavages, to promote its new D to G cup size range of bras.

Created by Iris, the Tottenham Court Road billboard uses a mosaic of the thousands of 'real' women photographed during the campaign to form an overall image of a close-up Wonderbra-clad bust, belonging to participant Katie Green.

The poster is the result of a two-month integrated campaign promoting the new range, which introduces Wonderbra's "uplift" to larger bra sizes.

The poster copy reads: "D -- G. Because we're more than a handful", and is intended to encapsulate both the brand's playful tone and the attitudes of the women who took part in the campaign.

The models for the poster were recruited through a call-to-action for women of all shapes and sizes to attend an open photo shoot. Over 1,000 women turned up at the event; and other women were recruited online via a viral and microsite, also created by Iris, which invited them to email their own photographs.

The microsite also enables users to zoom in on the poster image and view the individual women.

Julia Nolan, Wonderbra's marketing manager, said: "The campaign Iris created has engaged with our audience and got them involved directly with the brand.

"The average UK cup size is getting bigger and we know that Wonderbra girls are proud of their cleavage whatever their size. This campaign has given them the chance to be confident, playful and sexy, be they an A cup or a G cup."

The Ocean Outdoor billboard site was booked by MPG.

Hasn't Barack Obama already done this idea on his website?

No, used a mosaic of lots of people to form another person, thus making the idea not very original.

yeah i have to say that bra doesn't look like it fits her very well - certainly wouldn't make me rush out and buy one - i've never tried on a wonderbra that fits correctly.

Poor sizing would be the problem. Most women dont know their actual size. Emma, get down to Rigby and Peller, they will give you the good/bad news.

What, so Barack Obrama pioneered the mosaic did he? Thanks for keeping me abreast of things.

Erm, visited the site and saw the poster... and it revealed a lot of repeated pictures. Did they really have the "thousands" of women they claimed? I must say not all of them look at all flattering in those wonderbras...
