Gambling site SportsXchange targets Premier League fans
LONDON - Free-to-air sports news and betting TV channel SportsXchange is mounting a campaign to mark the start of the new Premier League season. The campaign, by direct response agency WDMP Communications, challenges viewers to 'Know your stuff'. Ads will run in The Sun, radio station TalkSport and on the TV channel itself.
The aims of the campaign is to drive traffic to the channel's website, www.SportsXchange.tv, where consumers can make can place bets through partner websites and also watch the channel for free.
The channel launched on 23 July, and can be found on satellite broadcaster Sky (channel 456) and UPC in Ireland (channel 417). WDMP won the account following a three-way pitch.

Meanwhile, online betting company Bet365 has renewed its £3m sponsorship deal with Setanta Sports for the upcoming season of the Barclays Premier League games.
