NI sheds three sales managers

Three News International commercial managers are to leave the business in September after last month's restructure of its sales operations.

Chris Branch, commercial inserts manager, and Times Media group heads Kieron Dodd and Dean Yershon are all set to leave.

Branch has spent the past five years working across the inserts department. Previously, he was sales manager for both The Sun and News of the World, and retail manager for News Group Newspapers.

Dodd has been with the group for about 14 years. His previous roles include advertising manager for Times' magazines and helping to launch its luxury magazine Luxx.

Yershon, who has been with the group for nearly 20 years, is a display group head working with News International's GroupM clients.

News International declined to comment. The departures follow a merger of the sales forces of its red-top titles and quality brands.
