The gorilla played the drum solo of Phil Collins' track 'In the Air Tonight'. The £6.2m campaign, by Fallon, broke during the live final of last summer's 'Big Brother'.
It was one of the most lauded ads, winning acclaim from the public as well as industry awards.
Next week's reprise will comprise mostly of the same footage and music, but with a slight twist, according to sources.
When the Gorilla ad first appeared, Cadbury said it was a one-off commercial that was to introduce a theme of a ‘moment of joy'.
Cadbury launched the follow-up ad, a midnight truck race to the soundtrack of Queen's ‘Don't Stop Me Now', in March this year.

I wonder what the slight twist will be? Perhaps the gorilla will be playing something by Gary Glitter
It will be something to do with Trucks.

Smells like teen spirit or some other popular number
Some kind of mash-up between Cadbury Trucks and Gorilla .. so I hear
Maybe the gorilla is on the back of a truck with his drum kit and they're all pegging it from glitter...some kind of american getaway music in the background...cheese

Maybe a medley of Phil's hits- 'One more night' and 'Another day in paradise'. This is what dreams are made of guys.....
I love Another Day in Paradise. Being lectured by a multi-millionaire tax exile about the plight of the homeless really made me stop and think

not quite as epic a tune in my opinion. there's an element of comedy associated with Phil Collins (maybe thats just me!)
You obviously didn't see him in Buster. It was crap

i didnt mean him as a person. i cant honestly say im a fan. i meant cheese comedy. ie. so shit it's funny and we can laugh at him
Who's going to be inside the gorilla suit then?
...I will await the out come of this but still believe that it was best as a one off...
I hope the "twist" is not going to be another ad withdrawal following complaints to ASA :)
I may be wrong but I heard the 'twist' will involve communication of some sort of tangible product benefit...

I'm hoping the twist will be miming to the entire 47 minutes of the 'Face Value' album.
Or possibly a remake of Buster using the gorilla instead of Phil.
I doubt that Julie Walters would have married a gorilla in the first place, although it's a nice idea. On a similar theme, however, perhaps it's the gorilla coshing a driver - in this case of one of the trucks rather than of a train - over the head, causing him to die a premature death, and then making off with millions of pounds and being lionised by morons who read the tabloids as a lovable rogue.
