by Alison Donnelly, Marketing 03-Sep-08, 16:25

LONDON - Orange has appointed Jeremy Morris as head of direct marketing. Morris has worked for five years with the brand's Pay As You Go team as head of acquisition.

His appointment follows the integration of Orange's business and consumer direct marketing and retail publications teams.

Morris will be responsible for planning, developing and delivering Orange's direct acquisition strategy, while also managing below-the-line communications. He will also be tasked with developing a strong working relationship with Chemistry, its recently appointed direct marketing agency.

He takes over from Spencer McHugh, who was recently named Orange UK's head of brand communications. He has overseen the integration of the advertising, digital and media buying teams.
