Information Resources hires Hans Jessen as European MD

LONDON - Market research firm Information Resources Inc has appointed former Accenture global operations director Hans Jessen to lead its European business.

Jessen starts with immediate effect in the role of executive vice-president and managing director for Europe, the company confirmed today.

He joins from Accenture Marketing Sciences, where one of his biggest projects was to develop its European media auditing system.

Information Resources, which specialises in consumer research in the retail and healthcare sectors, counts Kellogg's, Nestle and Kodak among its clients.

President Nigel Howlett, to whom Jessen will report, said: "Analytics have become the fastest growing part of our business by far. I am delighted that Hans is joining at this exciting stage in our development."
