Lastminute.com hires Match.com marketing director

LONDON - Lastminute.com has hired Match.com marketing director Abbie Cranage as its head of marketing to replace Fleur Studd, who is returning to Australia.

Cranage will join on September 25 and will report to Julie Davidson, Lastminute.com's UK marketing director.

She will be responsible for the strategic planning, budgeting and delivery of all consumer marketing activity across travel and lifestyle categories for the site.

Davidson said: "We are sad to see Fleur Studd go back to Australia but delighted to welcome Abbie Cranage on board. Abbie has strong online and offline marketing experience and will be a great asset to the marketing team."

Cranage has eight years' experience in marketing and was made marketing director of Match.com in July 2007.
