Wunderman partners with social media specialist

LONDON - The Wunderman network has struck a partnership with US-based social media monitoring and engagement specialist Visible Technologies.

The partnership means Wunderman agencies will be able to help their clients to tackle social marketing using Visible Technologies' TruCast platform and expertise.

Wunderman and fellow WPP agency Mediaedge:cia had previously been working with Visible Technologies to follow and make contact with websites and bloggers on behalf of clients and increase awareness of key marketing events.

Stewart Pearson, chief client officer at Wunderman, said: "Understanding the many-to-many relationships critical to consumer preference today is as important to us as the one-to-one insights and analytics in which we are the leaders.

"Social media analytics are enabling us to expand our clients' audience reach, and scale their customer engagements in innovative new ways."
