PricebyPrice.com launched for disabled web users

LONDON - A new price comparison website that targets disabled web users has launched, promising to make charitable donations for every transaction that it processes.

PricebyPrice.com is targeted at the 10 million registered disabled people in the UK, who may have trouble using existing price comparison sites. It offers price comparisons on credit cards, mobile phones, car insurance and loans.

The site is compatible with the leading types of screen reader software, used by people with impaired vision; does not use flash or pop-up windows, which can cause problems for software designed to assist disabled users; and will include options that make it easy to navigate with the keyboard rather than a mouse, as well as easy-to-adjust text size and colour.

PricebyPrice.com will also donate £2.50 for every commission it receives. It has set no upper limit on the level of money it donates.

The site was developed by Liverpool-based new media agency Visual Position.
