Hyundai pulls £12m ad account from VCCP
LONDON - Hyundai has ended its four year relationship with VCCP, which handles its £12m advertising account, and plans to take the business in-house.
The South Korean car manufacturer is to take the account in-house with its advertising agency, Innocean, in a move designed to increase cost-efficiencies.

Hyundai uses M&C Saatchi for its pan-European account and also appoints agencies on a project basis to handle individual product launches.
As a result of this arrangement, work from Europe has previously run alongside VCCP's campaigns in the UK.
Hyundai's relationship with M&C Saatchi is unaffected by the decision, following its appointment to the pan-Euro account in April. The agency will be given a wider remit.
VCCP won the UK business in 2004 after a final pitch against Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO.
The carmaker's UK activity extends to programme sponsorship through ITV1's US drama 'Six Degrees'.
