UKTV ads to back revamp

LONDON - UKTV is to embark on a multi-million-pound campaign to promote the launch of three channels next week.

It will unveil Alibi, G.O.L.D. and Watch, with the latter showing the flagship talk show Richard and Judy's New Position. Watch will carry eyeball branding and the strapline 'Simply good TV'. Crime channel Alibi is dubbed 'The deadliest place on TV', while UKTV Gold becomes dedicated comedy channel G.O.L.D - an acronym for Go On, Laugh Daily.
