Coca-Cola taps new UK executive

LONDON - Coca-Cola Enterprises has appointed Simon Baldry as the vice president and general manager for the UK.

Baldry, formerly Cadbury Schweppes managing director of Great Britain & Ireland, replaces Hubert Patricot, who became president of the European group in July.

At Cadbury Schweppes, Baldry was responsible for the development of the Cadbury businesses in Eastern Europe. He began his marketing career as a brand manager for Coke-flavoured brands at Coca-Cola Schweppes UK.
