WWF launches new look website
LONDON - WWF-UK, the conservation organisation, has launched a new website in an attempt to shift the focus from news and features to engaging the public with the organisation's activities.
Focusing on campaigning and lobbying activities, content now falls into two distinct categories of 'What We Do' and 'How You Can Help'. The site is intended to drive users to not only find out about WWF's areas of work, but also to encourage people to take action and join in with WWF's campaigns and initiatives.

Interactive tools, such as streaming audio and video, photo galleries and interactive maps of WWF's areas of work have also been added.
The conservation organisation worked with digital communication agency Reading Room.
The website also uses a more environmentally friendly hosting solution from Carrenza, designed to reduce energy consumption, helping WWF-UK to reduce its server-related CO2 emissions by up to 40 per cent.
