Sun launches national cover-price campaign

LONDON - The Sun has launched a national outdoor and TV ad campaign to promote its weekday cover price of 30p, featuring a cover version of Just Can't Get Enough by Depeche Mode. Watch the ad.

The TV ad will run as 20, 40 and 60-second versions, including a Scottish version, for three weeks as part of The Sun's "All for just 30p" promotion.


Over the three weeks, The Sun is also running over 100 projections across16 cities showing a large till receipt detailing what you get for 30p. The projections will feature on the Houses of Parliament, the Bank of England and the Angel of the North.

"All for just 30p" billboards and radio as were launched earlier this month.

Roland Agambar, sales and marketing director of News Group Newspapers, said the ad demonstrates the Sun's long-term commitment to the 30p cover price and demonstrates the value of what's on offer.

In last week's ABC results, The Sun posted its eighth consecutive month of circulation growth in September.
