Moore departs Telegraph
LONDON - Telegraph Media Group has parted company with Mike Moore just five months after making him general manager for the group's digital operations.
The surprise departure of the former AOL executive comes amid a restructure at TMG, which has also seen the departure of marketing director Barry Flanigan.
A spokesman for TMG confirmed the departures and would not rule out any further personnel changes as the group restructures its digital and marketing functions.

The changes were blamed on the challenging economic environment, and the likelihood that conditions will toughen in 2009.
The spokesman added: "The restructure will allow for a decentralised digital strategy going forward, and the changes implemented will streamline operations to align digital and marketing activity more closely with the commercially-focused areas of the business, such as advertising, e-commerce and newspaper sales and promotions."
Moore joined TMG 18 months ago as executive director of consumer markets. He was closely involved with the appointment of Adam & Eve and Amp as TMG’s advertising and direct marketing agencies in March. Prior to the appointments, the company moved its media planning and buying account from Universal McCann into Carat without a competitive pitch.
Meanwhile, Google’s vice-president of marketing for Europe, Lorraine Twohill has joined the TMG Board in a non-executive role. She will continue to lead Google’s regional marketing activities across EMEA while helping TMG develop its multimedia strategy.
