LONDON - News International is re-launching its Sunday Times Magazine supplement and backing it with a TV, outdoor and press advertising campaign.

The re-launch follows on from the redesign of the newspaper sections of The Sunday Times earlier this year. The new look will feature revitalised front cover, more features and investigations, a more visual contents page and an updated overall layout.

Launched in 1962, The Sunday Times magazine was the first national newspaper colour supplement and the re-launch will see the inclusion of a new 12-page colour photography pull-out called Spectrum.

The updated magazine will also include more regular features to add to the likes of 'Relative Values' and 'A Day in the Life of".

As well as TV spots, the marketing campaign also includes point-of-sale advertising, email, in-paper and giveaway promotions including 250,000 copies of a special 'Best of ...' supplement given away free to the public.
