Newsquest signs up for ABCe six-month certificates
LONDON - Regional newspaper publisher Newsquest Media Group is the latest media owner to release data on the new ABCe six-month certificate as the regional press looks to show advertisers the size and local nature of its online audience.
The independently certified online data covers the Newsquest network of local media branded sites and 12 of its largest websites, including theherald.co.uk, dailyecho.co.uk, theargus.co.uk, and thepress.co.uk.

Newsquest Media Group joins Northcliffe Media Network, GMG Regional Media and Johnston Press in publishing six-monthly audits.
Most regional newspaper publishers have previously reported their website figures only on an ad hoc basis.
The six-monthly certificate requires continuous reporting and enables regional media owners to report online data alongside their print figures.
Roger Green, managing director of Newsquest Digital Media, said: "We are committed to the transparent reporting of our network in order to demonstrate not only the size of our audiences across the UK but, more importantly, the localness of those audiences.
"The growing online power of our local and regional media brands, combined with our traditional strength in print, deliver unrivalled pan-platform opportunities for advertisers."
