Asda launches new digital newsagent
LONDON - Asda is teaming up with John Menzies Digital to launch a new online service that offers consumers the chance to download more than 100 digital versions of popular magazines.
As part of the deal, Asda is providing an introductory offer which will enable the first 10,000 consumers who register before November 31, to receive the service free.
Customers register via the Asda Digital Newsagent and can select magazines such as Nuts, Red, Chat, and the BBC’s Top Gear.

The launch will be supported by promotions across Asda.com, along with a range of direct mail via e-mail and in the supermarket's customer magazine.
Sarah Clegg, managing director of John Menzies Digital, said: "A partnership with a household name such as Asda is a perfect platform for us to take our technology to a mainstream UK audience."
