St Dunstan's mounts direct mail campaign to help ex-Service people
LONDON - St Dunstan's is launching a direct marketing campaign to highlight the charity, which helps ex-Service people with serious sight problems regain their independence.
The campaign created by TDA begins from next week and focuses on the story of a beneficiary of the charity, Tom Hart, who was blinded in action during 1940. Hart received his first Braille book from St Dunstan's for Christmas during the same year whilst being held as a prisoner of war and he explains how the gift lifted his spirits and gave him hope for the future.
