JWT names Eastman as worldwide digital director
NEW YORK - JWT has appointed David Eastman, from Omnicom's Republic group, as worldwide digital director.
Eastman, 45, joins JWT from the Omnicom-owned Republic Family, formerly the Zulu network, which he joined in June 2007 from Agency.com.
Eastman spent seven years at Agency.com, which is also owned by Omnicom, most recently as president and worldwide chief executive since 2006.

Eastman will report to Jeffrey and be responsible for the management of the digital discipline within JWT, RMG and all subsidiary companies, with the remit of integrating the digital assets and overseeing all activation and through-the-line marketing throughout the network.
Eastman will also join the JWT Worldwide executive committee.
Eastman said: "For me, this role validates the importance JWT places on integrating digital into everything they do.
"I'm excited about helping them to achieve that and thrilled to be joining the team."
