Peugeot moves UK dealership business into Euro RSCG

LONDON - Peugeot has handed Euro RSCG its UK dealership business following a six-way pitch.

The incumbent, McCann Erickson Manchester, had handled the business for more than ten years, but the car giant called a pitch, which took place in November.

McCann Erickson Manchester repitched for the business in late November.

Despite losing the creative account, the incumbent has retained the PR, media buying and planning businesses.

The decision to move the creative account into Euro RSCG aligns Peugeot’s advertising into one agency – Euro RSCG currently handles the car brand's global advertising account.

Euro RSCG has been briefed to handle the integrated account for Peugeot’s 300-wide dealership network. This will span TV, radio, outdoor, digital, print, prospect e-mails and point of sale.

Separately, Peugeot is looking for a direct marketing agency for its business and fleet range.
