LONDON - Metropolitan Police Service has appointed Abbot Mead Vickers BBDO to handle its advertising account.

The appointment, which comes into effect in April, follows a three-way pitch that also included Golley Slater and incumbent agency MCBD which has handled the account for the last five years. The pitch process was managed by the COI.

Campaign issues will cover knife crime, terrorism and the Safer Neighbourhoods programme.
