Dennis publishes Computer Buyer for last time
LONDON - Dennis Publishing-owned Computer Buyer is to be axed after 18 years, following a decline in circulation.
The March edition, which will be out this Thursday (15 January), will be its final issue.
Dennis, which also publishes The Week and Maxim, said it would be offering subscribers to the magazine, believed to number 5,000, a subscription to its sister-title Computer Shopper.

According to the last available ABC figures, across 2007, Computer Buyer had an average circulation per issue of 9,477 copies, of which 3,481 came from news-stand sales.
It is thought that news-stand sales of the title had fallen below 2,000 copies a month.
Dennis Publishing said the closure would not lead to any staff redundancies. Since 2007, the magazine has been written and edited by freelancers, while sales had been handled by other Dennis sales staff.
