Asics consolidates European creative into Amsterdam Worldwide
LONDON - Sportswear brand Asics has consolidated its European and Russian creative business into Amsterdam Worldwide, handing it the duties for its performance wear and leisure wear.
Amsterdam Worldwide, formerly Strawberry Frog Amsterdam, has worked on Asics' Onitsuka Tiger brand since 2002 and landed global duties in 2006.

Asics, which stands for Anima Sana In Corpore Sano, is the fourth biggest sports footwear brand in Europe.
Michael Price, marketing director for Asics Europe, said: "Since joining Asics one year ago, I have been impressed by the creativity and strategic depth of the international team at Amsterdam Worldwide.
"As we reflected on our major challenges and aggressive growth plans for the next five years, we decided to consolidate all our business within one agency. Amsterdam Worldwide...was the natural choice."
Last October Asics appointed OMD to handle its £15m media spend across Europe.
