LONDON - Recruitment company Adecco has become the latest tier-two domestic sponsor of the London 2012 Olympics after agreeing a deal with the Game's organisers.

The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (Locog) has unveiled Adecco as the official recruitment services supplier to London 2012.

Under the deal Adecco will handle permanent and temporary recruitment until 2012 for the Game's organisers. Adecco will also support Locog's staff in preparing for the next stage of their careers following the conclusion of the Games.

LOCOG aims to double in size over the next year and will have several thousand employees by 2012.

Adecco was also a domestic commercial partner for Sydney 2000, Torino 2006 and the Manchester Commonwealth Games of 2002.

The recruitment firm also works with the IOC (International Olympic Committee) on the ‘Athletes' Career Programme', which supports Olympic and Paralympic athletes' transition into work after competition.
