The specialist publisher has also acquired the title’s websites, as well as four associated events: The Retail Industry Awards, The Quality Food Awards, The Quality Drink Awards and The Motor Trader Industry Awards.
Motor Trader is a weekly title covering the automotive retailing sector, while Independent Retail News is a fortnightly title read by owners of independent grocery outlets.
Established in 1994, Metropolis, which now owns 18 titles including Record Collector, specialises in consumer, business and travel publishing, along with public sector contracts and corporate and consumer reward and benefit programmes.
