LONDON - Coca-Cola has unveiled its Diet Coke ad featuring Welsh pop artist Duffy.

The 60-second ad will make its global premiere on Wednesday 18 February during the BRIT awards on ITV.

The ad features Duffy alongside ‘other strong, confident young women who are taking a stand against the pressure of modern life.' When faced with appeals from a crowd at a gig for an encore, Duffy hops on a bike and cycles away singing the Sammy Davis Jr song, ‘I've got to be me.' The singer then returns for her encore.

Coca-Cola Great Britain marketing director Cathryn Sleight said: ‘Since the brand launched, it has always celebrated women, their lifestyles, attitudes and aspirations. We're very proud of this new campaign which shows strong and confident women taking control and saying no.'
