BA flies eighties icon Mr T to UK in Snickers promotion

LONDON - Eighties cult hero Mr T arrived in the UK on a British Airways plane for a Snickers promotional tour.

The actor, who played BA Baracus in cult series The A-Team, overcame his fear of flying to board the British Airways flight today.

Mr T said: 'The flight was very good and I was wonderfully looked after by the cabin crew.'

He is in the UK for the Snickers Get Some Nuts tour and has starred in ads for the Mars-owned brand.

Snickers sales grew 10% to £62.3m in the year to October 2008, according to Nielsen.
