LONDON - Caulder Moore has been tasked by Michaeljohn, the hair salon, with the interior design of its concept store in London's Mayfair, opening in August 2009.

The brand design agency is also redesigning Michaeljohn's website, as the salon prepares to expand its street presence by opening further salons across London later this year.

Ian Caulder, creative director at Caulder Moore, said: "Our aim is to make Michaeljohn the best kept secret in London for the discerning customer with a twenty-first century flagship salon where clients feel beautifully looked after.

"There's strong equity in the Michaeljohn brand --  through its history and association with the premium, glamour and first-class service -- and we'll be building on that to create a more unique and ownable design that will translate both into the salon and online to provide a blueprint for the future growth of the business."

Michaeljohn has styled hair for 40 years and counts Twiggy, Princess Michael and Princess Anne among its clientele.
