Former director of sales at Orange Stuart Henry is someone I admire enormously. He is, quite simply, a leader. His ability to empower staff and encourage contributions from those around him leads to commercial success and helps build loyal and focused teams.

People who lack desire and ambition are quite rightly nervous in his presence; he really sorts the wheat from the chaff. He is not afraid to say what people need to hear, not just what they want to hear. This is his greatest attribute: compassionate ruthlessness - without a fear of hard truths.

Stuart also shows a real interest in people and their passions, an attention to detail that filters down to his daily work ethic. He's deeply respected by rugby players Martin Johnson and Martin Corry and it is easy to understand why.
