What's wrong with it? Why is anybody surprised? If you're in one job are you not allowed to go out and become an entrepreneur, retailer of sports good, manufacturer of artisan ice cream? Why are you treating celebs like they're not human beings? Anybody has the right to earn their living in the way they decide. Yes, even if they're from the music industry. Iggy Pop. John Lydon. Liam Gallagher. They've built up a market and an awareness over the years. They'd be crazy not to exploit it. Are you people actually in marketing or are you impostors?

Mr Griffiths, we may work in the advertising / marketing world but we don't have to like everything it coughs up. He, Liam, is a brand in his own right and yes he has every right to exploit it. His statements about doing it for what he likes to wear is fine too, no problem there. And the vid, that was fine also. But, a few questions first. He goes on as if he's an every man which has yet to be seen as no where can you find prices for the clothing. There are so many suckers out there, sorry 'fans', going to \(most likely) pay through the nose for these items of 'limited edition' apparel. And the name? Is there anything 'green' about these products. Where were they made? Where'd the name come from? Is it an Irish roots thing or an environmental thing? Hopefully the right answers will come from these questions. But, to go back to celebs doing whatever they want and good luck to them, I think its sad when no talents like Victoria Beckam can make millions as a designer to the stars.... she's no right to take a job away from a desiner who spent years training up. She's a clothes hanger for God's sake. I'm in media, can I do a copywriters job please and walk in at the top? There's a moral question for the abuse of celebrity and the greed to make ever more money and rip gullible people off. Jade Goody's perfume anyone? J-Lo's, Britney's, etc. I stick my name on it and you buy it. Sad really that the throw away culture has reached such blind-to-taste proportions. That said, let's hope Mr Gallagher keeps it some way worthwhile and doesn't rip off his fans.
