Climate campaign releases spoof pop single for Energy Wasting Day
LONDON - Climate change awareness campaign Together has made a pop single and music video featuring its spoof 'anti-eco' character Dan Power declaring his love for Jeremy Clarkson.
Once again celebrating its Energy Wasting Day on April Fool's Day, Together is going further than last year's viral by making an assault on the charts.

The Energy Wasting Day single can be purchased from online music stores for 79p while promotional T-shirts can be bought at Energywastingday.com.
They include the 'Polar bears, who cares?' t-shirt modelled in the video by girls pole-dancing around patio heaters.
All proceeds will go to Together, which is run by independent charity The Climate Group.
David Hall, campaign director of Together, said: "We've all got a bit of Dan Power in us and by poking fun at his antics Energy Wasting Day reminds us how silly it is to waste energy. With any luck, Dan's single will take the charts by storm."
Together launched last year to help UK households to reduce CO2 emissions and has been endorsed by Tony Blair and former US vice-president Al Gore. Its partners include B&Q, Barclaycard, British Gas, BSkyB, Marks & Spencer, O2 and Tesco.

I hate stuff like this, it doesn't get the point across to me, I don't find it funny or entertaining. I certainly wouldn't send it to anyone, which really defies the point of a viral. Maybe if you got the guys from Flight of the Conchords to do it - maybe it would be pretty funny.

That is so rubbish, I can't believe I stuck it to the end. I so would not send that to anyone.Who on earth thought this was a good idea? it's just annoying.
