Vodafone customers to receive Twitter tweets for free
LONDON - Vodafone UK has signed an agreement with Twitter allowing customers to send and receive SMS updates at no additional cost.
Users in the UK will be able to send and receive free tweets as part of their normal text messaging bundle with Vodafone.
UK Vodafone customers text the shortcode 86444 and you can activate their mobiles in Twitter settings.

Twitter said the deal was the first of an expected roll out with other operators.
