Ex-Research Now executive launches custom panels firm
LONDON - Charles Pearson, a former Research Now executive, has launched a UK-based market research agency called EasyInsites.
EasyInsites, which will be headquartered in Guildford, Surrey, will use software firm Cint AB's online research technology to sell directly to corporate end clients.
The technology that EasyInsites plans to use includes the Cint Automated Tracker, which reduces the cost of running tracking projects by removing the need for dedicated project management staff, and EasyPoll, which allows clients to pose questions and receive fast answers based on targeted samples.
Pearson will run EasyInsites as managing director and he will be joined by Jo Winning, former client development director at Research Now, who will take up the role of director of sales.
Pearson said: "One of the most significant obstacles for corporate clients and organizations in considering custom panels is cost.
"Cint's technology will be the basis for our product offering called EasyXchange which enables a client to offset these custom panel costs by easily facilitating the monetization of these panellists. This means that clients will be able to conduct more research, more often, and all at a lower cost."

Market research is about to go through a similar dis-integration process as full-service ad agencies in the 1970's. As then, specialists will emerge, offering those clients aware of where to go to buy greatly improved value for money. The mix of Research Now experience and Cint software and business model looks impressive.
