LONDON - The website for Channel 4's teen TV magazine show T4 has been redesigned by digital agency Ustwo, and will now include video footage of presenters interacting with graphics.

The design overhaul, which was commissioned by Channel 4 and Princess Productions, is intended to give a more "user-focused, socially-networked, T4 experience".

It includes a new widget that gives updates on T4 gossip and programmes, which users can customise and place on their own social networking site, and a "talk to us" tool that encourages the public to post messages on the T4 site.

Ustwo has a team of "Flashion Granimators", graphical animators who combine Flash technology with "fashionable, exciting visuals".

Matt Miller, creative director at Ustwo, said: "The T4 brand has a perfect synergy with our Ustwo Granimation -- high colour, expressive motion, lots of energy...graphical madness.

"Our concept was to extend the personalities of the T4 presenters on the web and set them in their very own Granimated world, which viewers can then interact with and become a part of through social networking tools."

Ustwo has also confirmed it will be continuing its work with Channel 4 and Princess Productions with the creation of a series of content downloads called "T4riffic", which will allow viewers to download T4 Flash wallpapers for their mobile handsets and PCs.
