Mills & Boon Community, developed by digital marketing agency Mustard New Media, allows users to create their own profile, chat with authors, and rate and review their favourite books.
It also features blogs by Mills & Boon editors who provide advice on writing romantic fiction.
Tim Cooper, director of digital marketing at Mills & Boon, said: "This online community is a chance for us to give something back to our readers.
"We also have an ever-growing readership of 20- to 30-year-olds, which this community will particularly appeal to."
