Mullerlight tempts consumers with New York promotion

LONDON - Mullerlight is backing a promotion for free trips to New York with a £1m TV campaign.

From May 5 promotional Mullerlight packs will offer consumers the opportunity to win one of 400 ‘instant win' top prizes of flights and three-night stays in a four-star New York hotel for the winner and three friends, plus £2,000 spending money. 

Every ‘Win New York City Breaks' six-pack will contain a leaflet with a unique reference code which consumers enter on line to find out if they are an instant winner.  The leaflet can also be used to claim one of three discount offers: a ‘stay for free when you wine and dine' deal at Ramada Jarvis Hotels; 30% off a food bill at Prezzo Italian Restaurants; and ‘2 for 1' dance lessons with dance organisation Ceroc.

The promotion will be supported by a £1 million TV advertising campaign which will see a 10-second tag highlighting the promotional packs added existing ads airing during May and June.

The activity forms part of a £7.5 million marketing investment behind the brand this year and follows within weeks of Müllerlight embarking on a nine-month ‘Sex and The City' sponsorship deal with TV channel Fiver.
