Sleep documentary a primetime winner for BBC One
LONDON - BBC One's '10 Things You Need to Know About Sleep' pulled in 4.1m viewers to win the primetime slot, capturing 18.9% of the 9pm-10pm audience, according to unofficial overnight figures.
The one-off documentary revealed the science behind common sleeping disorders, from insomnia to jet lag, and offered tips to ensure a solid night's rest.
Its main competition in the slot came from Five's 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation', the show's 200th episode, which managed to draw 3m viewers and a 13.7% audience share.

Channel 4's documentary series 'Find Me a Family' retained most of the viewers who tuned in to its Monday debut, but was down around 100,000 to 1.3m and a 6.1% audience last night.
The three-part series follows three UK families attempting to adopt children, hosted by journalist David Akinsanya. An additional 215,000 watched on Channel 4+1.
ITV1 brought back its fish-out-of-water reality series 'Holiday Showdown', which pairs up odd-couple families and sends them out on holiday. This week a family of pampered shopaholics were sent backpacking through India with a family of Hare Krishnas.
'Holiday Showdown' drew 2.7m and a 12.1% audience at 9pm-10pm.
BBC Two's 'Horizon' documentary series last night asked 'How Violent Are You?' and managed to pull 1.2m viewers for a 5.6% audience share.
