Metro adds celebrity reports to user generated video site
LONDON - Metro has introduced professionally produced content on its MEview website, which was launched 15 months ago to house user-generated video clips.
In a new VIP section of the site users will find a number of celebrity interviews and can already watch footage from the Cannes Film Festival, which opened yesterday.
Upcoming video events include the Bafta TV awards, as well as the Brit Awards and London Fashion Week.

The content is all supplied by production company and online broadcaster t5m.com.
Ryan Battles, Metro's digital editor, said: "This is an exciting development and partnership for Metro.co.uk.
"While plenty of broadcasters offer red carpet video footage, t5m.com are the guys who get behind the velvet rope and party with the stars.
"We still have fantastic user generated video on MEview, but adding this professional behind-the-scenes footage will enhance the depth of choice for our video viewers."
MEview pays its users cash for uploading their video clips.
