Alan Moore's 'unseen masterpiece' arrives on iPhone
LONDON - App developer Clickwheel is bringing Alan Moore, the man behind 'The Watchmen' and 'V for Vendetta', to the iPhone, with the release of the 'Future Shocks' digital comic book on the iTunes App Store.
Clickwheel has created an app for Moore's 'Future Shocks', one of his earliest creations, downloadable for 59p an issue.
The app will be available in eight issues over eight weeks in an adapted digital comic book format.

Will Simons, Clickwheel creative director, said: "We've pushed the boundaries again. Not only will iTunes customers be able to purchase the very best comic reader on the App Store, but also the best comic too."
Digital comics are widely available on iTunes, although genre pillars such as Marvel and DC, the home of superheroes such as Spiderman, Batman and Wolverine, have been reluctant to offer their titles online.
In February at the New York Comic Con, Marvel announced that they are developing a form of "motion comics" on the App Store, which features animated panels and spoken dialogue from voice actors.
