Having achieved the perfect positioning for Sainsbury's during the recession with promotions including ‘feed your family for a fiver', he deservedly holds on to the top spot, again followed by Unilever's global chief marketing officer Simon Clift in second place.
Coca-cola's Cathryn Sleight's work on fresh campaigns for Diet Coke and Coke Zero helped boost her into the top ten this year. Wal-Mart's Rick Bendel, Morrisons' Marc Bolland, and Aviva's Amanda Mackenzie have also achieved much for their brands in recent months, propelling them into the top 10.
