Sky Player offers sports, general entertainment, movies, documentaries, children's programming  and news.

This deal means that Xbox owners using the Xbox Live platform will be able to access pay TV content via their entertainment consoles for the first time.

Sky Player TV was launched in December 2008 as an online subscription TV service.
