LONDON - Ryvita has appointed Grey to handle its £3m ad account after a three-way pitch against Beattie McGuinness Bungay and VCCP.

The business was previously handled by Mortimer Whittaker O'Sullivan which held the account for the crispbread and snacking brand for five years and created the ads starring TV presenter Fern Britton.

VCCP's tenure on the Jordans Cereals ad account is unaffected by the appointment of Grey.

Jordans marketing director Carol Welch oversaw the pitch process. She took responsibility for the Ryvita brand following a restructure earlier this year by Associated British Foods (ABF), the parent company of both brands.
