Miller beer campaign promotes support of live music event The Mill

LONDON - Miller Brands UK is running an ad campaign in Scottish cinemas to highlight Miller Genuine Draft's sponsorship of its ongoing live music events The Mill, which is held in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The advert takes the form of a ‘rockumentary' of The Mill, including sound checks, footage from a live gig and the wrapping up of the show. Cinema goers can download live tracks from The Mill via Bluetooth-enabled technology in the foyers before and after the film.

The brand is also taking over Glasgow's Buchanan Street underground station. All poster sites will be owned by The Mill from 29 June to 13 July on escalators, cross tracks and on the station platform itself. There will even be a stage where consumers can see The Mill rockumentary.

The Mill runs every Thursday alternately in Edinburgh at Cabaret Voltaire and in Glasgow at the Oran Mor. The Mill showcases the best in emerging live music, with tickets obtained free of charge from the supporting website - www.themill-live.com - where fans can also download music and live show videos.
