Tennis Foundation takes to the streets with Wimbledon campaign
LONDON - The Tennis Foundation has launched an ambient advertising campaign on footpaths to raise awareness of the charity and drive the public to watch tennis on BBC Wimbledon screens placed around the country.
The campaign uses a jet spray to clean away dirt on public fottpaths using a template to leave a 'clean' imprint. No chemicals or paint are used to create the outdoor campaign.
The Lawn Tennis Association set up the foundation to encourage people to watch and play tennis. The campaign will direct people to screens showing Wimbledon footage in Portsmouth, Derby, Swindon, Bristol, Plymouth, Liverpool, and London.
It was created by CURB, which specialises in marketing using natural materials. There will be 350 clean ads laid this week in high footfall areas.
