BBC Poetry Season marked with Glastonbury Twitter happening
LONDON - The BBC Poetry Season is to be taken to a younger audience with an event at the Glastonbury music festival which will combine poetry and technology.
The project combines Twitter, the Igloo Vision Projection Dome at Glastonbury and input from twitterers and spoken word artists including Dan le Sac vs Scroobious Pip.
Tweets using the hashtag #GlastoPoem will be projected on the inner circumference of the Igloo while a VJ mergers 3D visuals.
Bluetooth messages will be sent to mobile phones in the dome. The content will include videos created especially for this year's Poetry Season.
The installation will be live on Thursday between 12 noon and 5pm and Saturday between 10am and 5pm.
The project is supported by Nitro Digital, the integrated media agency.
