IllicitEncounters sneaks past taxicab ad ban
LONDON - IllicitEncounters.com, a dating site for married people, has found a way to bypass the taxicab ad ban imposed by the Public Carriage Office last week by advertising on receipts printed out by cab drivers.
The website has partnered with FreeTaxiPads.com, which gives controversial sites like IllicitEncounters.com, "the UK's longest running extra-marital dating site", a chance to sneak past taxicab advertising laws by printing ads on receipts instead.

IllicitEncounters was banned from advertising in London taxicabs last week by vehicular advertising regulator the UK Public Carriage Office.
The website planned to use the tag line: "If you're happy in your marriage, tell your spouse. If you're not, tell someone else's."
By printing ads on the taxi receipts, the website claims it will reach around 10,000 people everyday, especially it's intended audience of ABC1 city professionals, without having to tone down their message.
Sara Hartley, site representative, said: "We understand the problems that some people have with our company. However, we do still need to reach out to people who need us.
"There are still thousands of people out there who are not of aware of IllicitEncounters, and possibly should be."
