Funny or Die appoints w00t!media for exclusive UK online ad sales
LONDON - FunnyorDie.co.uk, the UK version of the comedy video site founded by US-based comedians Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, has appointed w00t!media to manage its digital ad sales.
Funny or Die UK was launched in September 2008 by 'Little Britain' stars Matt Lucas and David Williams. Last month the UK site saw 190,000 unique users, generating 620,000 page views.

The website features original and user-generated content, which is voted for by users. The clips that are deemed funny remain online, while those that are not 'die' and are relegated to the site's 'crypt'.
FunnyorDie.co.uk's online advertising account was previously held by Sky.
Austen Kay, director of w00t!media, said: "Funny or Die has become synonymous with excellent comedy sketches and TV-quality production values and is now the world's number one comedy portal.
"The UK arm combines the best of the stateside offering with an increasing collection of home-grown clips. w00t!media is presenting tailored brand opportunities to advertisers keen to appeal to this massive demographic."
